Boats Afloat!
CBC's Crane-in Day on Saturday 12th April was a great success. The weather was perfect (unlike last year) and all the boats were successfully launched. A bit of manoeuvring with the workboats was required to get everyone onto their correct mooring, but there was plenty of time and tide, and some people even had time to get their masts up. "Making a Splash" Poetry Evening with Cramond Writers
In partnership with the Cramond Association, CBC was delighted to play host to the Cramond Writers Group on an otherwise dreich March Monday evening. Setting the scene for this literary soiree, master of ceremonies David Bleiman highlighted our location's existing literary claim to fame. Spring Work Parties
With two weeks to crane-in, many jobs around the club were tackled by various work parties on the weekend of 29th / 30th March. An enthusiastic gardening party worked on the bank to the north of the clubhouse, cutting back earth, grass and weeds from the roadway and trimming overhanging branches.
